The possibility of restoring the former beauty of a place as unusual as the Szczecin’s Villa Lentz is a source of satisfaction, difficult to describe, for every craftsman artist. The project of renovation of this building started in 2018, has become an invaluable opportunity for our company to practice many skills.
Willa Lentza – eclecticism at its best
Built-in the late nineteenth century, the Villa, owned by a wealthy merchant from Szczecin, is a building that already attracts the eyes of passers-by from afar. During its construction, no expense was spared either on the materials or the gadgets of the famous German architect Max Drechsler. Magnificent facades, columns, and decorations promise the observer an equal wealth of means of expression in the interior, which, however, has been standing empty for almost ten years and has been deteriorating for much longer. That is why the possibility of cooperation with Konsart in the renovation of Villa Lentz is an exceptional reason for pride for Kowalstwo Przemysław Szymański.
Our projects at Villa Lentz
The mourning state in which the Villa has been located for many years has required and will require a lot of complicated renovation work, covering not only the building itself but also its immediate surroundings. Here we can boast of the fence, the complete reconstruction of the decorative grilles on all the entrance doors, as well as the creation of metal gates in the style of the Villa. Our task was also to focus on other decorative details such as balustrades or amazing, decorative hanging lamps.
